Rifadin Capsules contain a medicine called rifampicin. It belongs to a group of medicines called anti-bacterials and works by killing the bacteria that caused infections. Rifadin is used for treating all forms of tuberculosis (TB). Rifadin is also used to treat patients who do not have meningitis but carry the meningitis bacteria in their nose and throat and may spread the bacteria to others.

To clear up your infection completely, take Rifadin for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Please separate doses by 8 to 12 hours if taking an oral aminosalicylic acid.
